I was very happy to work with Nomi (owner of Peek Mag) in 2020. Peek Mag was branded but needed help with ideating for the web. I defined 3 strategies for the site based on the technical lift and brand opportunities. Defining user journeys and creating the sitemap was also an early focus.
There was a preference for something that felt like a newspaper with a strong feminine slant. The palette was challenging in terms of accessibility and we decided on a toggle and iconography for alternate options. We also had multiple cycles on fonts and making sure the article pages were comfortable to read.
My team helped me develop and input content on the website, as well as handling administrative needs. We were able to address all issues that came up during weeks of QA. It was essential that the client felt good about operating the website on a regular basis. We provided multiple looks into the backend and gave documentation in our departure. After launching we also provided interim support and remained active in providing any guidance.

Below is one of the docs we used when doing early exercises. I wanted to collaboratively build the sitemap and scope through needed page templates with the client. It was used to generate progress but also touch on the “whys” for certain pages and web strategy.
